Air leak symptoms

Hey guys can someone tell me what exactly the symptoms of a air leak are? I did a search but couldn't really find a solid answer.

Can you tell me the procedure for checking for leaks and sealing them or maybe a link to some kind of tutorial? Thanks

There's an engine tuning 'sticky' on top of the General Nitro forum that will show you where to seal the carb neck. Other than that, you'll also need to do the back plate and check all your fuel line connections and tank lid.
Any auto store will have the red RTV silicone.
