Hello I am new to nitro and need some help, I bought this “ACME CONDOR” for £50 plus £8 postage and I put a pull start on it and got it running however after using the clutch bell pushes really hard against the spur gear and it keeps doing it after moving the engine.

ALSO does any one have any idea what Acme condor this actually is? The previous owner bought it as a non runner and got it running and sold it on, I have no clue what it is

thanks I’m advance :)

Loosen the motor mount screw on the bottom of the chassis and use a piece of paper to set the gear mesh. Squeeze the paper between the geaRS AND USE LOCKTITE BLUE AND THE SCREWS AND TIGHTEN MOTOR MOUNT SCREWS.

I have done this apart from the blue locktite will repeat again tomorrow with locktite, thanks for the reply :)

I would suggest you replace the battery with a battery pack. The cheap one that is on your car is known for losing connection and creates loss of signal, which will cause a runaway.

loosen motor mount screws under chassis. then find some shim stock try that put on inside slot or holes between chassis and mounts then locktite it..
