Hey guys, I bought a new smartech 1/10 onroad car and i have an extra 3 channel tx and rx. I've never used the third channel on a nitro car, so what kind of things could i use the third channel for? I thought it would be cool to experiment with something new.

lol, that's cool. i wonder if i could make it play a really tacky tune!

and maybe i'll try a remote ignition or something.
anybody else have an idea?

The third channel is normally used for switching to reverse. I have seen it used for switching on lights.

3rd Channel

How about using it to heat a glow plug in the exhaust tip to throw flames?

Police siren and lights would be cool.:fro:

-Hook up a super-boost-jump like K.I.T on Knitght Rider.
-Maybe rig up a catapult system where you should launch some cat dookie on your buddies.
I like the glow plug in the exhaust idea. You could have some fun with that!

A mechanical kill switch that pushes a snubber against the flywheel.

Use it to inject a 100 shot of N.O.S. when your car shifts into second.

It would be more convenience than anything else. If you have a runaway your radio inputs probably won't be doing very much.

LMAO...Gotta love some of the one line response from the members.

I never use my third channel on any radio for anything othen then reverse. Their's actually a plehtora of things you can do with it and the skys the limit. Have Fun

Peace
