You have to have three channel reciever if you want to keep reverse. IMO I would remove the reverse it is just something else that tears up easy and really pointless. I stripped that reverse gear three different times before I wised up and removed it and have not had a tranny issue since. Actually in the new revo and t maxx they left reverse off cause of all the issue's.
 
i have been looking into the reverse delete kits ill go that rout then kill 2 birds with one stone lol thanks alot for your help
 
No prob. Yea I mean reverse is cool to play with for a min but it is really pointless. After I realized what a tranny destoyer it is I removed it in my revo and t maxx. The FOC kit is only $12 and the gear that strips all the time is $10 so after replacing it 3 different times I decided it was time to go. It just can't take the strain of a 3.3 engine and strips way to easy.
 
i see well i have the pro 15 in my truck now just upgrading as i go
