Re-assembly day!

Cold and rainy here, so after my coffee, i think the new motor and esc will be going in the pro4! As well as a decent clean, maybe some fresh shock oil…

Used some gorilla tape to seal up the inner fenders a bit better on the sct410 2. Hopefully it will keep a bit more debris out

going to aluminum C and D blocks with inserts in the sct410 2. Happy to find out the alu blocks with inserts are the same weight as the plastic clad steel oem ones. If anything i would like to add more weight to the rear, was worried the alu blocks would be lighter

I honestly dont think they would be any better in the mud than a decent set of tires. I think they will shine in the ice/frozen dirt.

Went through my capra, replaced a few rod ends, a few bearings, added some grease. Currently making some tire chains for it.

Got the granite ready to party in the snow!

Fuselage, prop, stabilizer replacement on the little sport cub. First time working on a plane, other than replacing a prop. Hopefully it works!!

Not sure if a laptop counts as wrenching…. But working on a skid for my capra that will flip the motor/trans. This will allow me to use the dig to selectively disengage or lock the front tires, or have normal 4wd. no idea if this will be entertaining to drive, but a fun experiment nonetheless!

Installed some treal aluminum knuckles on the front of my capra. Had to modify the vitavon brass portal covers slightly to fit the treal knuckles. Once that was done, everything fit up to the vanquish axle just fine! Also stripped some teeth on a gear in the front servo the other day, so got...

Re-designed, and printed another grill/bumper for my capra. Then handed the controls to my 4 year old and he drove it straight into the door frame exiting the house haha. He is usually a much better driver… At least the new bumper survived.
