@Chubaka nice find digging up this old thread.
You’ve got quite the project staring at you with that trike. Good luck!

This is our family cargo bike. Kids love it. We don’t really take it mountain biking, though. There are other bikes for that kind of fun!

Thanks. It's putting s dent in my rc funds. 😝

Is yours electric assist? This trike may find an 80cc or brushless and lipo power plant one day.

This popped up while browsing YT. Wonder how bad his balls are gonna hurt if his chain ever pops off 🤔😆😅

not me. I'm lazy. i dont trust you healthy people. riding bikes. jogging. excersise..... just can't trust yall. what are you prepping for that i dont know about???!!!
Bike can get you farther with less work then walking and running. Less chance of police attention too. I don't trust runners. 😁🫠

Not AS sketchy as those runners....
We have a bike scenic route I drive often that usually has small groups of cyclists on it
I like when jrks get all impatient and try to pass em poor bike guys bet that's scary as hell
Getting passed by cars

For me, it's removing a nail or two from my coffin. Delaying final lock down so to speak.

I'm wondering if anybody else rides/likes MTBs on this forum? I know that @HPIguy (not to call you out!) used to like them (not sure if he still does). So again, does anyone work on MTBs, ride them, or even maybe work in a bike shop? I think it goes without saying that I ride MTB and work on mine!

Edit: Probably should have said this earlier, but I have a Co-op DRT 1.1 (the ether colored version, the paint is very nice IRL). Not the fanciest by any means, it's pretty basic, but get's the job done.
Yes but if I'm honest, only because my son is. I've just got a Jamis Highpoint hardtail trail bike but my son has a really nice bike. It's a 2023 Trek Fuel EX 9.7. Full fox suspension, CF frame, drop post, Cushcore etc.

We mostly do downhill tracks. My son is braver than me. I'm too old and it scares me. I also hit the ground harder 🤣

He needs a gopro. Awesome spot.

not too much into MBs, but just bike riding around the neighborhood and some trails at the local state parks.

Currently got a 24in mongoose. Dad has a 26. Had the same orange bike since I was like 10. Wanting a new bike. Wonder if I should stick with 24, or move up to 26.

Was looking at 24in wheels and tires if I wanted to get more into customizing my bike. Like I do with my RCs. 🤣

26 or 27.5 imo.

I keep my Trek on either easy rails to trails or the streets.
Unfortunately, my legs don't hold me up very well anymore so anything
rougher than that would get ugly quick.

I got a bad shoulder & I just cruise around my small town sidewalks & little streets, all really small town residential. I think census is 2150 people

Only 3500 in my town. We have a rails to trails that starts here in town and is 83 miles and ends up in New Meadows Idaho.
Beautiful trail but I've only rode a few short sections. My lungs won't allow a long ride.

My neighborhood is 40k. The city we are part of is 300k. Sad part is we're were the only ones out here years ago.

I couldn't handle that. My oldest sone lives in Boise and it's 235k. I hate driving in it.
I love our quiet little town.

My bike ride 6 miles to the store resulted in me needing a Xanax I was so amped up. I hate this place but it's t but it's all I know.

Had alot of close calls and even contact a few times. Both were hit and runs on one the window got broke. Was a nice area but all the people moving around trashed it.
