novak explorer and trinity d4??

i just got a rustler from a friend for some stuff he owed me its got a novak explorer 2 esc and a trinity d4 motor anybody know anything about these two any good or??

Here is a link to novaks web site there you can find a manual for your esc there are a few modles of the Explorer esc all of which I believe are discontinued but were good entry level esc http://www.teamnovak.com/download/instructions/index.html as for the D4 it is an older series of modified motor which could be any number wind combonations such as 12X2 or 11X3 here is a link to trinity http://www.teamtrinity.com/ both were good in there day goood luck!!!!!

that thing should be pretty quick with a motor like that. I have an 11 turn for one rusty and a 12 turn for the other. My associated T4 has a reedy 17 turn and it's stupid quick, so I can't wait to see what these low turn motors do.

yeah she went good till the battery lead wires on the esc melted together the guy before me didnt put the connector on correct any 1 know where i can get leads with the regular plug to resoder or can i just cut out the ruined melted plug and chucnk of wires and get a new connector??
