Back from Traxxas with the “worked fine for us” so before I drive it again and it runs away, it’s getting this put in and the opti pulled out!! And might as well put this os carb on it because why not. 🤣

I changed it out. I’m convinced it’s the tx/rx. It loses link. If it was solely optidrive I would have had steering. That being said the optidrive supposed to be a failsafe and brake when connection is lost. Not run off like a bat outta hell. So we’ll see if Traxxas can figure it out.

Well…..Put in the new optidrive from Traxxas and she took off across the yard across the road and barreled thru the neighbors yard all by her possessed self. So she’s in back in a box on her way to Texas…again. Grrrr!!

That’s exactly what I was thinking. At least I got a brand new motor again.

The 11kr carb is already ordered but on back order!! I have the other Revo that is perfect I may take this one and delete the opti and reverse. I dont mind fixing what I screw up. I love wrenching on things. I was only concerned with the electronics. We’ll get it right….. eventually. 😀😀

Sounds like every once in a while one gets through that’s not perfect. The one I bought used runs flawless every time I start it. After talking to them, I’ve got a good feeling that they’ll get it right.

After getting everything all back together, turns out the one-way bearing was bad so I bought one of those. Got it started got it running was doing small test laps in the driveway slowly and the damn thing took off towards my wife’s Corvette at full throttle with no control. I had to step in...
