Well I drove it again yesterday and I'll say I'm 95% sure it was the servo saver spring nut loosening up. I put some thread lock on it and will keep an eye on it for future issues.

I will do that as soon as I get home and try to narrow things down.

I thought that too but I'm running a 2500 mah 6.0v rechargeable pack that was fully charged yesterday before I ran my savage and still showed good charge after I quit running. I might try running with the alkaline batts to see if that fixes anything.
