    FWIW... I use this tool here almost on a weekly basis, absolute necessity for hitting the beads of my 1/8 wheels and tires with the sanding stone before gluing tires and tons of other uses like breaking in the outdrives to de-bur them, etc... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FSBY9GV/

    Actually, I use toe nail clippers first, then polish smooth with the dremel ;) I suppose scissors may work well too!

    I like to use a dremel and sand off the rows to make a mowhawk... remove 1 row at a time until you get the desired traction you need, on my SCT410 I removed 4 rows total on the front of each wheel:
