I am not 100%, but I think going to the B is just changing the way the axle carriers mount. Look in your instruction manual. It has the instructions in it for building the car as a buggy.
Be careful if you remove the screws that hold the servo mount in. Those crappy pieces of plastic strip very easily if you put the screws back in a little off.
You can buy some of the drift wheels for it, but it's not at all a drift car. Weight distribution is terrible, and the steering angle is terrible for a drifter. Just bash it man. Don't pour a bunch of money into it trying to make it something it will never be.
Piece of cake. You need CA glue and tips.

I trim these down a bit to make them less squirrely.
I apply a little tiny drop, at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o-clock positions on both side of the rim on each wheel. By the time I get through that, I start over applying a drop in between...
They would probably help. But we have only driven ours once. It was so squirrely it was too frustrating to drive it. It's been on a shelf, unfinished ever since. Like a bad reminder of the decision I made to pour money into it.
Paying attention to the Tamiya fanbois hopping theirs up was a...
I actually don't mind trimming decals. It's kinda relaxing. I even trim the pre-cut ones because they usually have a huge clear border around them that looks tacky and toy-like.
Yeah, those curved Amazon scissors are crap. Throw them in the garbage. Get some good straight scissors to do the main areas of the body. For the wheel wells and any curved areas I can't trim off with scissors I lightly score it with an Xacto blade and snap those areas off. Works great in the...
Find out what they did to theirs then and follow suit.
I think if you do the Tamiya bellcrank it will improve a lot of the slop, but the Yeah Racing one is not noticeably better than the stock plastic one because the bearing journals are so damn sloppy on it I could toss the bearings in it from...
Yeah, the Tamiya upgrades are nice, but you pay a big premium for them. I have some of them on ours that I got a good deal on from a guy that parrted out a TT02S. I also advised you not to put any money into that car. Ours is fully optioned. Every upgrade there Is. And it's still the biggest...
Looking good. That steering play... that's the worst thing on these kits. I put aluminum arms on it and that didn't even help much. The only steering bellcrank out there that will remove some of that slop is the Tamiya brand one, and it's ridiculously priced.
