    Haha yeah I am still using the mechanical brake because I think it is neat. On the trail truck I am running it entirely like a nitro with the mechanical brake and the reverse gear. I run 3s because I have a lot of 3s batteries and 4s just gets me in trouble. I suppose you can probably gear it...

    The bigger, 140a max10 esc will go up to 4s. The smaller one will not. Max6 is probably far too big to consider unless you are looking to use it on a different truck. With your larger tires, probably best to just get the max8 to be safe.
