Yeah, I have an X6 and an X8 and when I got the first one I was likewise confused for a minute. Fortunately I've been in RCs long enough it didnt take me long to realize that it worked like a cell checker. :)

The S6 can take any size plug from 2S to 6S. Heres it is with a 2S balance adapter plugged in to it. and here it is with a 6S balance adapter plugged in to it.

The fan itself has a JST connector on it. Some ppl call them JR connectors but the proper name is JST. It comes with an adapter to hook up the JST connector on the fan and changes it to a Futaba connector on the other end that can plug into any open channel on the receiver. You can also run it...

Wicked just asked in the vendor forum how often they get restock. Might want to keep an eye on the thread for the answer. https://www.rctalk.com/forum/threads/hello-from-rcbattery-com.132503/

Not sure how often they restock as I've only just started buying their lipos in the last 6 months. Not sure I understand this question. Can you please restate it?

Speaking of sales. I just got this in my email from RCBattery.com (Liperior website)

I have one of those mounts. The fan comes with a connector already on it. Just a suggestion, Id ditch the fan that comes on it and replace it with one of THESE 28,000 RPM fans.

The iChargers will read IR of the lipo while its charging but not as a stand alone function like the Hitec. Its not as convenient and I dont believe it to be quite as accurate but its fine for most purposes. A lot of chargers dont read IR at all so its good that it can do it at all. IR is...

Theres a couple problems with parallel charging boards. One problem is all the lipos you plug in to it to charge at the same time must be identical to one another. Another problem with parallel charging boards is that the charger can not see the individual cells of each battery in order to make...

I just tested one of there basic packs. I'll have the data on it up later today. Liperior and Zippy Compact are both better than a basic Gens_Ace pack. They generally have really good customer service. I've had one or two bad experiences but mostly its been very good.

Yeah, both of my iChargers and my cell checkers are like that too. Just never occurred to me to extend it using a 6S or 8S cable like that. :)

Oh wow, I never even thought of doing that. Thats usin' the ole noggin'! Although I wouldnt recommend that to our friend here :)

Out of all the LiPos I've run tests on LiPos so far, the Liperior and Zippy Compact so far are the 2 top dogs. https://www.rctalk.com/forum/threads/comparing-lipos.130493/ Those balance leads are only for 6S lipos. You will need separate extensions for 2S, 3S, and 4S. If you're willing to wait 2...

Basically yes but when considering whether a connector is male or female the only thing that is taken in to account is the pins not the housings. Some connectors will have male connectors with exposed pins like a Deans connector. Thats why they dont go by the housings. Generally yes, when...

Thats entirely possible but batteries always have female connectors and chargers therefore have to always have males.

    Building RC car with Sons

JST-XH is the main connector used by most companies for balance connectors. There are a couple of companies out there that have their own but they arent common. The charger has a male balance connector on it the battery has the female connector. Id look at Liperior LiPos from RCBattery.com...

I'm also assuming its 4mm but yeah, 4mm is the standard even for lab equipment so its a safe assumption

The charger comes with a cable that has an XT 60 that plugs into the charger and the other end has bare wire for you to solder your own connector on. You need to either solder an XT60 male connector on that end in order for it to connect to the adapter you linked. Its not a very long wire...

That is an excellent charger. I have the X6 and the X8 but unfortunately they are only single battery chargers. If you want a duo icharger then Id look at the iCharger 308Duo

I would also consider getting some bearing lube like Acer's SIN bearing lube, probably some degreaser of some kind (I like to use a 50/50 mix of water simple green consentrate), and maybe some CowRC's Moo-tor Cleaner for cleaning bearings. You dont need that up front but at some point Id look at...
