Selling what remains of my nitro RC gear. Simply do not have the time for them as I'm focused on carpet racing with my Mini-B's. All are in excellent condition and ready to ship. Prices are firm as I believe they are fair. Included it with each but not pictured are any additional parts and...
Not following the "without the hex" part. The hex is what the pull start mates to and usually is a OWB. You need the hex to actually turn the piston over.
Let's put it this way.
I bought a Team Associated RC18T circa 2005.
I rebuilt it last week! :hehe:
To be fair, it did just sit on the shelf for awhile, but I just got into racing Mini B's and my little RC18T can race in the open SCT class, so raced it a few times and thought, good time to...
Not sure if this will help, but a I ran into an issue with my Mini B not.binding to a new RX. Happened to be at my LHS doing some practice laps and the guy there said it might be a result of bind lock.
He grabbed his own TX, bound it to the RX. After that, I was able to bind my TX to it.
I'd...
Wow! Some really cool rigs and with the original boxes as well! I have a NTC3 from that generation and two Kyosho USA-1's in that age bracket as well! Really dig that Giga Crusher!

If it's not idling, your idle set screw needs adjusted to keep it open a bit. Should be a small screw by the LSN (but NOT the LSN needle itself) to adjust the throttle opening.
If that is the plug you used to break it in, get a new plug. It may glow, but there's likely some small metal bits from the break-in on the coil which will hinder performance.
I could be wrong and that makes sense. Need to look at it closer. I know one came with my old RC18T, so I may dig that manual out and check. Thanks @WickedFog !
Was doing some cleaning/organizing of my pit box to make it easier to carry tools and parts to the track for carpet racing and found four of these little things. They came with my Mini B and my RC18T. Never paid much mind, but am curious if anyone knows what it's for. Thanks!
