if its getting hot and dies it could mean you need to richen you LSN (low set needle) if you have a manual reset the carb and then lean the High needle from there. oh and change that fuel. diesel would be better than that try a gin and tonic 20% gin and the tonic for lubrication....<only kidding...

Just to confuse issues I have melted many hot and medium hot plugs with my rustler 2.5. I richened the LSN which helped but still melted plugs. I now use a cold plug. Mc9. this keeps my engine running cool.

I wouldn't recormend it. You have to drill the shock tower which in turn weakens it. I would lengthen the handle on your current pull start and then either get the stainless wire stuff thats on ebay of as I have put some (denyema) power kiting line, 150 - 300 lbs breaking strain.
