Is there a reason u havent mounted the exhaust down the side? Also ull prob need heaps of weight. I made a gokart with a nirto engine on the rear. Still needed about 50x50x50mm of solid lead over the rear. And it still just spun ended up using a gimbal/stabilizer to help keep it straight.this...
these are the packs you want

dont bother with 3s unless you want to replace the rear diff every run.
2s is pretty sweet with the stock setup, make sure you have...
i have got 75kph, using 38spur and 16t losi cb
i was using lrp .28 one steering servo, the smaller battery tray and throttle servo tray that they sell on amainhobbies and tmaxx ties
+1 for lrp .28 donk, i put one in mine and its more than enough power, unless you want to break everything on your car. i have RR gears and 1/8 4 shoe alloy clutch and everything else on the drivetrain is stock. just keep spare drive shafts and parts incase.
laptop power supplies are ideal. they are small, people generally throw away the old ones which are usually a touch bigger, but dish out more amps.
i have an old dell 12v 18A one that i use. just chop the plug and sort out the wires. mine had 3 blac and 3 red, 1 small blue and another small...
get something with pullstart. last thing you want to do when your out bashing is carry around something else heavy.
roto start is great for
-racing (when you dont expect the thing to stall)
-when you have it in front of you (do yyou really wanna walk 20+ meters everytime it stalls with a...
When you take your carb apart and put it back together take note of how many turns it was. Turn the high speed and low speed needles all the way in (don't do it too tight as it may tear the orings) and count how many turn it was to get all the way in. Also find the specs on the motor and find...
i find the tmaxx tires are great on my BB revo.
i have stock drive shafts and slipper. everything else is not stock.
1/8 4 shoe alloy clutch
lrp z28r
rr steel gears
new era mount
spins on dirt all the way through 2nd
on bitumen it grips pretty well but slides a bit too.
ps ignore the 2nd...
So will that work for me? I won't be drawing much power. Ill hook up my watt meter when I get home, but 2 5g servos and a micro receiver will draw sfa.
At the end of the day. I just need something light and simple.
Might just go with my turnigy 7.5g regulator.
How do those voltage regulators work? Do I need to run resistors with those?
http://m.jaycar.com.au/m_productView.asp?ID=ZV1505
So I'm lookin at a lightweight voltage reg for my small rc glider. I have a turnigy 7.5g one ATM, but since I'm only going from 8.4v to 5 or 6v and only powering a micro 5channel receiver and 2x 5g servos I figure I can just use a resister and or a Zener diode.
I'm hoping to be able to keep...
if ur handy with tools and a welder try make one. i did for my stock motor and it worked well. basically welded some tabs to some thick wire, mounted it in the stock roll bar location and also went back to the rear body post screws. was pretty solid and did well, but didnt have it in there long...
just need LED's in the elevator, apart from that looks sweet. I'm in the process of trialing bungee high start system with a mini skywalker atm. kinda fail as my hook was crap. but will be going out on the weekend with new hook and reglue the tail back on :P
rear wing doesn't protect the .26/.28+ blocks. they sit to high. they are great wheelie bars and when landing on the rear when its pointing at the sky it takes a dam good beating. but as for protecting the motor its useless when it flips over and lands on the roof. i just be careful when bashing...
it shouldnt matter. all the plane/car esc's iv setup are the same (for brushless) plug em in, if it spins backwards, switch 2 of the wires around and it will go the other way.
