Howdy guys n gals. I was out in the garage and goin thru some stuff I'm either never gonna build or was an impulse buy that I never use. All RCNT and PP rules apply. Prices include shipping.
1) HPI RS4 Evo 3.
Pretty well stock with a newer f150 body. I believe it has the .12SS engine. Put on a...
Welcome to the site Ralph. I think you will find it very difficult for anyone to give you a good entry level vehicle for $100. Most rtr (ready to run) will cost you in the neighborhood of $300 just for the vehicle. When you factor in batteries, charger and a couple of odds and ends I would feel...
The 8ight was considered the top buggy/truggy when I got back into rc about 7ish years ago. I owned a v1 buggy and a v2 truggy that were solid performers on and off the track. I bought them used so I never had a chance to do the build but the product support was outstanding (back then) and the...
Team Associated makes some great kits. Look onto their 8th scale buggy. Fit and finish is solid from my experience and the directions are top notch too. Truggy wise all I've ever dealt with was the 8ight. Nice druggy but I suppose a bit outdated at this point. I'm not even sure they have any new...
Monster truck, on road, stadium truck, short course? Kinda need more info on what you like driving and as bama said your driving style too. Racer, basher, both? Need more info to help you out
I'm still in the early stages but I purchased the Heyok BEC for a MOG I'm working on and it was pretty convenient that its literally plug and play. Still tuning the electronics and getting the bugs worke out but I do like it.
I have a NIP Castle BEC I can let go if you decide to go that route...
There is a "sticky" at the top of the nitro thread that will help you get a better tune for the car. Congrats on breaking your cherry on doing your own work to install the part. If you truly get addicted soon enough you will be making your own cars!!
Like the "marbled" type look you have going on with the cab. Also like the "new" bed. They were the first thing to rot out on these things back in the day on the 1:1. To the best of my knowledge the stingers from RC4WD are all interchangeable on RC4WD products. When you want to use em on a SCX...
I do it all the time as well. If you have a good tune going and your temps are not high run 2,3,4 tanks till you shut it down although I typically break something by the time I get to a 3rd or 4th tank. Glad you got it figured out. Did you do the work yourself?
The age of the OWB doesn't have nearly as much bearing as the amount of fuel it has seen. The engine would have to be removed in order to remove it and properly clean it. Back in the day with the original .15 Tmaxx you used to be able to drill a hole in the EZ start case and just squirt some...
You wont find anything for a 2.8" beadlock to my knowledge. The only one I know of is the Mad Torque from Exceed has 2.8 beadlocks and IMO theres nothing scale about the appearance at all and I believe they are 100% plastic. You may have to glue my friend..
Its much appreciated from the likes of me and my family. Without the veterans we wouldn't be able to enjoy the simple things in life like this addiction or even our own families in comfort. Thank you all!!
