    Trophy vs Ten-T

I have had my Ten T for over a year now and have a couple of gallons through it. The only thing I have replaced is the steering servo (a PITA to install). It is still going strong and I have had zero issues with the ROSS unit or any of the electronics.

    Losi Ten T Truggy

The steering servo on my Ten T died, has anyone ever changed one out and had to deal with the little gromet that the front anchor bolts screw into? I would hate to have to tear apart the whole front end just to change a damn servo. I love my Ten T, but the design Losi used when mounting the...

    Losi Ten T Truggy

Well, I love the R.O.S.S. I am never gonna race it, don't want to race it. I think the Ten T is the ultimate basher truggy. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

    Klunk tanks

Yes, my Losi Ten T has a clunk. It works pretty well.

    Losi Ten T Truggy

Mine is great. It's really fast and the R.O.S.S. system has never given me trouble. The included radio is is another reason why it is worth getting this truggy.

    Run Time

My Traxxas slayer has a 150 CC tank on it and I get 10-15 minutes depending on how fast I am driving it. My Losi Ten-T gets about 5-10 minutes on the 75 CC tank depending on my speed. Slayer has a 3.3 engine, and the Losi has a 3.4 engine.

    Best electric or nitro car/brand?

I have Traxxas, Losi, and AE cars. The Traxxas and Losi nitro cars are pretty much bullet proof.....at least they have been for me.

    New to Nitro

Glad you got your Slayer Pro up and running. I just broke in my Slayer Pro this past weekend and I can't believe how fast this thing is. I found that if you just keep the starter wand engaged a few seconds after the engine fires, the truck will stay idling on its own. The truck is awesome...

    buggy or truck

From the looks of the chassis, yes, that would be a truggy.

    Erratic Stampede HELP!

A defective servo can indeed have an impact on the ESC. It could be causing a short that could in turn cause the throttle portion of the ESC to go wild. I had a friend whose Slash 4x4 would only run for a little while and then shut down. Turned out the steering servo was bad causing the ESC to...

    where to cut

Go to the hobby shop and look at the Traxxas nitros. Check out where they have the holes cut. My Losi Ten T has a square hole in the windshield and a large square hole in the roof over the engine. There is also hole cut out in what would be the driver side window so you don't have to take the...

    buggy or truck

Stadium trucks are 2wd and have different shock tower config than a buggy as well as a body that covers the shock towers; they also have similar sized tires front and rear, while buggys usually have exposed shocks and skinnier tires in front and wider tires in the back.. Both are mostly 2WD in...

    Best 1/10th eletric

Well, I can vouch for the SC10 RS. I just picked one up and love it. At less than 300 bucks the other two catagories are gonna be hard to fill.

    which truggy?

If you are not completely stuck on 1/8th scale, the Losi Ten T is about as great a 4x4 Truggy as you can get. Mine is fantastic and has yet to break after 3+ gallons of fuel. It is a complete RTR package with the Remote Onboard Starting System or R.O.S.S. Just charge the included Lipo receiver...

    i hate eletric rc

I have always liked the Nitro side of the hobby more. I have quite a few electrics and they are fun, but nothing beats a nitro for realism. Running my Losi Ten T beats running my SC10 RS for sheer fun. I have found that those that are really, really anti-nitro are usually lazy types who are...

    new slash

I don't think you can get a Slash 4x4 that isn't a brushless VXL system. You can in the 4x2 though.

    Getting into electric, any suggestions?

You are gonna love the XXX-SCB. Run it for a while stock and then upgrade to the Castle Sidewinder SCT combo. You'll love it even more. Check out the Losi lighting kit for it too. It is about $20 and installs in just minutes into the existing light buckets. It gives this buggy a sweet look...

    under $200

Check out the Electrix cars/trucks.....The Circuit, Boost or Ruckus. All about $120 - $130 with everything included in the box. You would have money left over for a decent nimh/lipo charger.

    Getting into electric, any suggestions?

I have an alternative, although the XXX-SCT is great out of the box, and the Sidewinder SCT will be as awesome in that as it is in my XXX-SCB buggy, I just bought an Associated SC10 RS for the same price as the brushed XXX-SCT and it comes with a brushless system already installed. Just a thought.

    Gave up on HPI!!!

I have NEVER had to call Traxxas CS with the 8 Traxxas vehicles I have owned. I have used their motor/engine replacement policy 4 times with great results. HPI may or may not have good CS, I just don't like their products after my experience. I think their bodies are ugly too. The MTs look too...
