I'm looking at Zee lipos for me Xmaxx. They have ec5 connectors, but I want to use my Traxxas charger. I see adapters for every imaginable combination except for what I want.
I could buy another charger, but I'm somewhat frugal.
Thanks
I'm not sure what else I can do with the esc. I've done the whole thing with holding the throttle forward and reverse, and it's been in all three modes.
It was barely used for the first few years, and I'd be surprised if it has 50 runs on it.
Thanks everyone, I'll be trying new batteries first.
It's 100% stock, but I could use new batteries. They're stock Traxxas 6700's, but it's been doing this all along. Only yesterday it started doing it really bad. So bad I could barely drive it. It seems to get better after everything warms up.
Good morning all. I have an 8s Xmaxx that I've been keeping around for about 6 years. I noticed from day one it likes to stutter or "cog" whenever I nail the throttle. I've never been able to figure it out, but now since it's being used it's gotten really bad. I'm suspecting a motor issue, but...
10/29/2019. Had my Ofna .28 revo and 18tm revo both out at the same time. My son, who's only 5 going on 6, ran the .28....:thumbs-up:My fuel is 3 years old LOL
If you can't get it to idle down with the idle screw chances are you have the lsn set too lean. If the rpms kind of 'hang up' then drop a few seconds after a wot run chances are the hsn is lean.
Always try to tune the hsn on a warm engine by first turning it out until you notice it slowing down...
I have plenty of experience with cold weather running, they will not warm up if you can get it to run rich enough.
It's never good to rip a nitro engine at less than 150 degrees, or as low as 100 when it's freezing out.
Sledman? It's probably cold out isn't it? Try warming the engine up with your wife's hair dryer first.....hehe...Also keep in mind that cold air is more dense, which means you need plenty of fuel to mix with it. Never lean your needles to get the engine warm. If it's not warming up you may have...
I've been finding myself looking at ebay a lot lately, and I think I want to grab a few items that may become valuable and highly sought after.....Kind of like those UE maxx chassis have become.
I'm not looking to get rich, or even re-sell anything for that matter. I just like having things that...
