Google is youir friend either that or visit RCNitro's sister site largescaleforums.com for 5th scale help but I would start at 1 1/2 out on the high speed needle and 1 1/4 on the low.

This isn't the greatest of pics but if you look close I used a donor frame and cut the engine part out of it then bolted it up under that spot. I am sure that you could bend a piece of steel to do the same. Good luck:)

A Lipo bag is just a way to contain a fire if it should happen due to charging issues, If you had a simialiar fireproof container that would work. I personally am just careful and watch my Lipos while they are charging to make sure nothing happens. I do usually charge them in a safe...
IMO a Kill switch is a must with these things it's cheap insurance and may keep you from hurting someone or something. As for run times it depends on your driving but usually about 45 min per tank.

My only thoughts on it even though it is not my thing is why if they had Castle build them a 2400 kv motor did they limit it to 3 s when Castle already has a 2400 kv that will do 4s. Plus the video doesn't really offer an opinion on the...
Ultimately it is all is all about the driver, I have beaten plenty of racers with faster motors just because they were fairly new at the hobby. I say race what you have and have fun, plus the higher kv motors don't have as much torque and get warmer it really depends on setup.
Sure, It looks like Dan is currently out of them but you can send him a message to find out when they will be available.

If you look in the video he is running a Mamba 1/8 scale motor and only getting 86 mph so there is your answer. btw fastest I had my rusty going on blacktop w/ the 5700 kv motor and 3cell was 74mph before it took flight:)

Extreme RC mods is right the 3.3 is a cheap casting with all kinds of durability issues, Your money would be better spent on an good engine OS21TM or a Picco 26 would give you gobs of power. Just run the 3.3 until it eats itself and save your money for a solid engine.
The stock velineon is Brushless if thats what you meant, I have run a Castle 5700 kv and the stock Velineon 3500 kv, I think the biggest gearing I went was 76/30 even at that both were a cog machine due to it not being sensored and the gearing being so high.
Thanks It is an RC solutions cage, I got rid of the Revo a year or so ago but the website is here you can find cheaper roll cages but you won't find a stonger one.

Having owned both I would say the Revo would have to be the better of the two besides the throw away 3.3 that is in it. The Revo is a better handling rig and the parts are more widely available at your LHS from my experience.
I have owned a few Revos and your best bet is go with a 17mm hex and get the aluminum ones. As far as tires that is a personal preference but the pic below is 3.8 RPM revolver wheels and 3.8 Proline Badland tires. You should be able to find everything you need at http://www.amainhobbies.com...
A little update- I have only gotten maybe 30 min on the new pipe because of the weather but that hasn't stopped the hopups from coming in:)
