The Losi 1/24th is fun for indoors and really flat areas, I think any type of outdoor track would be too rough for it to run. I got it simply to take with me when I travel, (and to possibly chase the cats and dogs with). I'd much rather have a MERV to run outside or at a track if I was looking...
Rolex naturally forgot the most important thing, some sort of pee deflector. Seems like every time the cool air hits them, when you take off their diaper, they just gotta go. :D
Congrats to you and the wife Woodie!!
What size lipo are you using? I have a decent charger, but these battery connections are so small, did you swap them out for something different? Just wondering how I can charge the lipo. Thanks!
Thanks Boutch, I'm looking for input on what people think of these, my LHS has them for what seems to be a decent price. I just wondered how fun they are to run. :)
Anyone have one of these? I've been looking at something small like this and thinking about getting one. 1/16 scale is still a little too big to take with me when I travel and I really like the look of the Losi, just wondering what others think that have run them.
I haven't and unfortunately I'm leaving this Sunday for 2 weeks. It's bad timing but late August this thing will get some serious run time. I'll definitely get some video of it posted.
Olds's 5b SS :D
I've never seen one in person and pictures just don't do these things justice. :whhooo:
This angle makes the Slash look bigger than it really is.
DAYUMM!! This thing is a monster! I've never seen a 1/5th in person, holy crap, it's HUGE! Not sure if I'll get a chance to run it before leaving for CA for 2 weeks, but I can't wait to get back and fire this beast up.
Thank you gentlemen (and Rolex) for the birthday wishes! Ran the Slash a little this morning, it rained last night. Running in the mud/water is great, until you have to clean up your truck.
