mmm, yes I have to agree with you there. Guess I didnt think it through. I also havent seen one of those setups with the spring and pin acting as the one-way. Seems like an odd method of a one-way?
So this setup means you dont use a one-way bearing?
I agree, save yourself the trouble and...
260 up to 300 is fine inmy opinion. Its when your up at 300 for long periods of time is when you start doing damage.
1/8" from the top is what you want. If the other pushes through 1/16" then its definitely cactus.
do you have a dremel? Put on one of the small little cut-off discs in it and grind a slot in the head of the screw so you can then use a flathead screwdriver to remove it after heating the lot up heaps with a hairdryer or heatgun.
Well if you want to get your warhead running again, then you can't go wrong with this supplier. All my nitros are HSP and he stocks everything for them in Aus. Unbeatable service and great prices. He also races them.

I can tell you now, most LHS operators don't know $%&t about RC believe it or not. They only tell you about what they have in stock and rarely ever try and help you with something they don't stock.
My advice is to learn as much as possible about RC in general and never go into hobby shops...
electric is the smarter option, economically and environmentally.........
bah, who gives a rats about that..give me ear splitting polluting internal combustion power anyday!:breakdown
If the brakes go on full when you switch the Tx of then yeah you do have it setup right.
What model receiver do you have? What brand/model throttle servo are you running?
The only other things I can think of would be loose solder connections in either the servo or inside the receiver. It...
why would you want 800 yards, you'd barely be able to see it. 150-200 yards is plenty anyway. Id say your problem is your RX pack is p!$$ weak. I use 3000mah as a minimum and dont have range issues. I use my dx 3.0 in both nitro and my 5b. Use the plastic tubing and get your aerial in the car...
I read your other thread on the Radio. Sounds like you still havent bound the radio properly. When youve got everything switched on (motor off) and everythings working, throttle/brake and steering, switch off the transmitter and the brake should go on and steering should go to the left or right...
A new engine with only a few tanks through should be very tight. You should not be able to turn it over with any of your fingers, it should get stuck at top dead centre. You may have lost a little compression.
I havent heard of those other fuels, but I'm tipping they are low on nitro content...
take the glow plug out. Turn the car upside down and crank over the motor until no more fuel comes out.
Put a new glow plug in and tighten. Put your finger over the exhaust and crank over the motor, as you do this watch the fuel go through the tubes into the carb. Let it go in for 1-2...
surely not, you know you've always wanted to live in Melbourne..lol.
Something else that could be a problem is flooding. Usually they come from the factory set quite rich. When these motors flood, they lock up so that the it wont turn over at all. That could also be whats happening. Remove...
