What do you folks think about the ball-and-socket suspension on Kyosho Inferno TR-15?

What a jerk! Just the fact that you'd take the time to post such a response shows what an absolute prick you are. It would have taken you almost as little time to simply answer my question. Moreover, you obviously never considered the fact that I might not have known that it was a 1/8 scale...

What do you folks think about the ball-and-socket suspension on Kyosho Inferno TR-15?

You got it backwards..... The ball-and-socket hinge is on the chassis, and is what holds up the entire suspension arm! I've never seen anything like it before. Here's a pic: http://www.off-road.com/rc/kyosho/FrontSuspension5.JPG http://www.off-road.com/rc/kyosho/tr15.html

What do you folks think about the ball-and-socket suspension on Kyosho Inferno TR-15?

I'm not interested in purchasing the car, but I'm wondering why they decided to use this setup rather than the hinge/pin that you find on virtually every other car in existence. It would seem that the ball-and-socket setup is quite flimsy, and wouldn't be able to take the same beating that...

Does MBX R2 w/ .21 engine come with a body?

Well, neither of you actually BOUGHT the car, so Neither of you actually BOUGHT the car from Tower Hobbies, so neither of you actually know, now do you. It seems that the 80% kit w/ engine is a Tower Hobbies package. How do you KNOW it comes with one? Saying that it does come with one...

MBX R2 or Ultra MBX Pro? Which one is better?

I'm having a tough time deciding between the two. I'm not interested in spending more than $300-$360 on a car, so I'm not interested in purchasing a Kyosho or Mugen or whatever. I'm just trying to decide between the two I mentioned above. One more thing, the MBX R2 80% comes with the .21...

Can the Ofna MBX R2 house the same size engine as the Ultra MBX Pro?.....

The MBX R2 80% comes with a .21 sized engine. The Ultra MBX Pro comes with a .25 sized engine. According to Ofna, it's a "big block" engine. Does that mean that the Ultra MBX pro was designed differently in order to hold a larger engine? Or can this size engine (or larger) fit in the MBX R-2...

Ofna MBX cars: What's the advantage of rear pivot suspension arms over basic hinge?

Some Ofna MBX buggies come with the standard hinge arms, others come with the pivot suspension arms on the rear. Other than being able to adjust rear toe-in, are there any other advantages?

Do Ofna cars have adjustable camber on front wheels? Specifically....

Unless you explain your comment, don't bother posting it. "XYZ sucks, don't buy it" is the most worthless thing you can tell someone unless you explain why. As far as I know, maybe you just got a defective product. Maybe you're uncoordinated. Maybe you don't know how to maintain your toys...

Do Ofna cars have adjustable camber on front wheels? Specifically....

How are they adjustable. I'm talking about the front wheels. The Ultra LX Pro (i.e. the $299 car that comes completely prebuilt) doesn't appear to have any room for adjustability. The upper swingarm on the front isn't really a tie rod. There is only 1.5mm worth of room for this piece to be...

Do Ofna cars have adjustable camber on front wheels? Specifically....

I'm looking at purchasing Ofna Ultra LX Pro (it's an read-to-run car). Here's a link to it: http://www.ofna.com/ultLXpro.html It seems as though there is really no upper tie rod on the front suspension of this car, so one would be unable to adjust the camber of the front wheels. Am I...
