The RC-Parts aluminum rims are a great Hop-Up for your Nitro Rustler. It gives it the extra “B” everyone is looking for. The rims are weighing in at a total of 1.8 ounces each for a total amount of 7.2 ounces added to your stadium truck. With only adding 7.2 ounces you don't have to be worried about weighing down your truck. With these rims there is no more cracking, and even shattering with the torque of the new Nitro Rustler 2.5 version. These rims will last a lifetime and you will never have to purchase another set of rims again.
To assemble the rims onto your Nitro RC is very simple, Simply scuff the rims where you will be placing the tire with a piece of sand paper or a wire brush. If you do not do this to the rim the tire glue will not adhere to the rim causing it to fall off when in motion..
Personal Recommendations:
- I personally like the Aluminum Shreds there are several different types of rims to choose from.
- Tire Glue, I recommend Pro-Line Pro CA medium tire glue.
- Sand Paper/Wire Brush any will do as long as it scuffs's the surface.
