Team Associated RC10 TC4
Team Associated’s revolutionary TC3 set the benchmark for touring car performance and quickly became the choice of winning racers all over the world. The TC3’s race-proven shaft-drive design captured many national and international championships in the past few years, and has spawned numerous imitations. Now the Team is proud to introduce the next generation RC10TC4 Touring Car… the refinement of the proven TC3 racing platform, optimized with more precise tuning features, better balance, and greater durability. The TC4’s chassis has been designed with the batteries moved closer to the centerline of the car… a favorite TC3 modification of many Factory Team drivers. This “mass centralization†allows quicker directional transitions, and the narrower chassis provides more side-to-side roll clearance. The inline motor mounting system features an all-new machined aluminum motor mount which not only provides greater motor stability, but also functions as an integral heat sink to draw heat away from today’s hotter modified motors. An optional “Factory Team†TC4 chassis forced air duct system will be offered to provide even greater airflow to the motor…
RC Solutions XXX-NT Front Steel Skid

When I first received the skid from Scott at RC Solutions, I was very impressed with it. I really liked the design, both for functionality as well as looks. Installation was a breeze and only took a few minutes.
Tools required:
Driver, whatever type you need for the type screws in your truck. Mine uses stainless steel hex head screws.
Installation:
Installation was quite simple. All that is required is a driver to remove the 4 screws that hold the stock plastic skid to the truck, and the first two in the end of the chassis. Remove these 6 screws, and remove the stock skid. Then simply place the RC Solutions skid over the chassis and replace the 6 screws. That’s it, you’re done.
Results:
After a good bash session at Boggy Creek Raceway, the skid did it’s job! It held up great to a good thrashing. I am very pleased with the skids performance and appearance, and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of adding some protection to their XXX-NT. My only complaint is that they don’t make a rear skid yet.

Who said R/C was for kids?
It’s not everyday you hear about US Soldiers using R/C trucks to defend America. Apparently the soldiers from the 1st Cavalry Division are using to what looks like a Traxxas T-Maxx or E-Maxx truck with a set of IMEX Jumbo Kong tires on their daily patrols to sweep the streets of Baghdad for improvised explosive devices, and have so far been beneficial to the military as in the past soldiers have been injured by walking up to IEDs to check them out, now the “robots” do the job.
It allows stand-off from (improvised explosive devices), for soldiers to go ahead and detect them, which does two things,†he said. “Number one, it helps save their lives in case the thing goes off, and number two, if it’s not an IED it will allow them to go ahead, get it off the road and continue the mission rather than blocking [the road] off and waiting for [an explosive ordnance disposal team].
One statement that I liked was one by Major Carlos Munson “Initially [the soldiers] are a little nervous because the robots are expensive ($3,000)” – Obviously these guys haven’t been to an RCNT Bash and or even seen pictures of what we do to these things
Latest News On Losi JRX-S
The design and development team at Team Losi have been working on an exciting new front drive shaft system that was tried for the first time at the World Championships a few weeks ago and, after further refinements, were used with great success at the US Indoor Championships (where the JRX-S was TQ).
Due to the spectacular performance of these new parts Team Losi are currently trying to get them produced for inclusion in the JRX-S kit while trying to keep any cost increase to a minimum.
Keep looking for more JRX-S news as we get closer to release.
