Maybe I’m late to the party… But I just discovered something cool.

I’m sure I’m not the first person to figure this out but I’ve never seen anyone do it before.

The MyLaps transponder mount is a direct bolt up to those holes that nothing seems to use in a 4wd LCG slash chassis.

It was a pleasant surprise to me!

Yep, did the same on my 2wd LCG chasiss.

On my AE buggy, most people mount theirs on their servo.

In my mini b, I just use gorilla tape and tape it down to the ESC since it is a tight fit on the chassis and car. Also not to mention I only have 1 ponder and a switch it out between cars after every race.

With my uncle on his old SCTs, which were losi SCTE 1.0 and 2.0, he mounted the transponder on the front shock tower so it triggers the system right when you hit the line under the track. With some cars like on buggies and such, you need like 1/4 or half of the car on the line inorder for the system to trigger the lap since the ponder is in the car or on the middle of the chassis than in front.

Those holes are actually intended for the optional center brace.
