My sister is bought me a night crawler cause I'm a nice guy ;), but I had a few questions on a few upgrades.

Would this be a decent dig?

320 oz of torque at 6 volts too much?

Tires??? I looked at Proline Moabs, Chisels, or Hammers going on Proline Titus' or 8 shooters. Any suggestions?

I need to change the linkages from plastic to aluminum, and get better motors. I don't plan on comps, but I do want to have a good rig.
Thanks

edit: Oh, will this axle also fit?

There is no so thing as too much torque in a steering servo!

Go with some HB Rovers, sedonas or Rover ex's or Panther Leopards for tires. 320 oz is pretty good but definatly not too much. I'm running 403oz and theres times when I wish I had 480 instead.

And those are Bully's axles and would need alot better chassis/link setup than the losi has, the losi chassis is made for the losi axles and thats all it works ok on. You need to try and find a trans out of a losi Comp crawler. PM Robmob hear, he might have one to sell.

Yep those are Rovers white compound. All in all one of the best tires ever.

Cool. Placing my order today. Thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll have more questions as this is my first crawler.

Rpp is cheaper on the Rovers. $18 for two with two free.

Yep, Rpp is one of the best places to deal with for crawler/scaler parts easily.

I started looking around for parts for this Losi but find Axial everywhere!!! Is there a bigger fan base for the Axial than the Losi? Or is it like coke and pepsi?

Also, in my search for higher torque steering servos, I decided to see what HK had and came across these....

$100-150 for a servo is kinda hard to justify to my girl, no matter how many times I tell her that I'm a grown a** man. :D

I have not heard or seen any one run either of the two servos you have listed but if i had to choose the second one sounds better looking at the voltage specs, but if you want one that a lot of us crawler guys use that has great performance for the money check out the Hobbico CS-170 for $90 http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNRN6

stay with a jr or hitec servo for sure, The rovers are great tires along with rpp is a great site for sure, you need a lcc tranny for dig there are no aftermarket ones i know of that will work well with the lnc, and those bully axles are moa axles and will require a whole different chassis than the lnc has to offer. Motor wise you'd want a Holmes Hobbie 30-45t handwound motor if you run the lcc dig tranny, also the traxxas titan 21t works real well also for a cheap motor. Hope this helps

Thanks. I know that I'm going to want to build a crawler eventually, now that I have this one. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, and everyone her has been a big help with that.
