I haven't tried my reusable K cup yet. I've heard the coffee is weaker than the disposable K cups. Is that true?

It depends on a couple of factors. Dark coffee does work better then breakfast roast, light roast, medium etc.. You also have to grind it right because sometimes you may need to put plenty of coffee into the reusable k-cup, but if you fill it with a finely ground coffee it might over flow and not brew right. So it has to be ground just right enough that you can fill the k-cup and have the flow still work out right....Tat is if your grinding your own...
It took me like 2 weeks to get it all down but since I have I have been making some pretty decent coffee with it. One suggestion I would have is to splurge and get the stainless steel one, you can find them online for under 20$, I think I have seen them as low as 12$. If you buy the cheepos they do not work as well. And some are a rip off when they want 12$ for some little plastic one....

Ecobrew re-useable K cups for the keurig and grind your own coffee for it. None of the litter / waste, and a helluva lot cheaper. I love my Keurig once I found them.
Be careful buying the newer Kuerigs, I've heard that they are implementing DRM into their next gen cups and Kuerigs so you will be forced to use Kuerig disposable kcups. I never started drinking coffee until I got married because my wife loves to drink coffee in the mornings. I do kind of like Columbian and by kinf of I mean when I'm in the mood for coffee I really like it. Problem is I'm not always in the mood for coffee in the mornings but I never know until i start drinking it so a lot of times I'll make a big cup to take to work and I might drink it all or I might take 4 drinks out of it and the rest goes to waste lol. I dont grind my coffee though cuz my grinder gets used for ummmm "other" things... 
It adds flavor and a little extra kick to the brew.

HA!!! I like where this is going... Well, I use my grinder for coffee, but I imagine it performs on many levels..
That other news you have is bogus. If they do that I wont buy the new machines, I like my reusable K-cup a little much... It is funny to hear you mention wasting coffee, I wont drink coffee unless it is fresh, if it is reheated or sat for hours I am all set. So when I was using a coffee pot I would waste a lot or feel forced to drink a lot. This Keurig gave me that happy medium of having a fresh cup when I want and not wasting old coffee!
For a while there I would just use the old coffee for iced coffee, but that tends to be a summer thing..
Speaking of coffee, I have an essay to write and a test to take by midnight tonight, and wrap up a midterm due in a day. My Keurig will be active until at least midnight tonight!

I so want to comment on this thread but alas cannot due to the issue of working for them and unfortunately I need my job. I will please ask that you guys keep supporting my current employer by enjoying the wonderful beverages we make and please look into our teas also. My daughter is a Keurig Swiss Miss addict she must have it as soon as her feet hit the floor or I get this Oh and Rolex that is why I am usually in Knox around once a year.

I'm starting to look around at the Keurig units in the different stores. If they actually DO make a change that makes it mandatory to use only disposable cups, they will not get me as a customer.

Only the Keurig 2.0 has the DRM and one of the other mfrs has already cracked it for their own K-cups.

I think whoever invented DRM needs to be beaten...I mean beaten like Joe Pesci beaten at the end of Casino kinda beaten...
as for "other" things i was actually joking. Our coffee grinder gets used for grinding fresh herbs, I just thought Id making it sound like "other" things since one herb reminded me of another herb
