help with pics

i can't seem to get the pics to work i put the pic in my members gallery and type

??? and it dont work .
look at my sig. :dumb:

are u putting the image tags around it?

you have to type IMG with brackets [ ] around it before the URL, and /IMG afterwards, also with the brackets. you can see more on this by looking at this thread:

this is a complicated topic if you don't already have some computer knowledge.

you need a url that ends with .jpg or .gif or some type of picture.

for example:

[img ] http://www.somesite.com/image.jpg[/img]

if that were a real URL for a picture and i had removed the ' ' in [img ], it would have worked.

in this case, you can go into the gallery and right click on the image. you then go to propertied (assuming you're using ie) and then you copy the URL for the image into the clipboard.

you then type [img ] (no space) then paste your image URL from the clipboard and then you close it with a [/img]

clear as mud?
