I'm currently in the market for a Clod chassis and someone pointed this Clod 2.2 chassis out. Looks like it would make a great scale crawler or Trail rig.

What do you guys think? I can't decide between this a Gecko II, Rock Bull, or a TTR Rage

IMO It looks cheap!
For a few more$ you can pick up a geckoII chassie

How do you like yours? I know the Gecko is killer on the rocks, but I'm worried about how stable it is on flat ground. Does it have a lot of body roll when turning?

It's a crawler. Who cares how it responds on a flat surface.

Because it won't be used for crawling very much. More of a mud/dirt truck that can crawl.

You put stiff enouf springs on. The body roll can be taken care of

These things were built to go vertical...

And use some good shocks!
