yes to lcg if you add some washers under that tape it will lower it even more as long as you dont tear carpet

True. On my race buggy when I used to do carpet, since it's metal chassis (and same with the mini b) I used tape and regular chassis protectors. On the Traxxas plastic chassis, really left them as is and didn't use any protectors and tape. Now since carpet track close, now it's ideally only bashing and clay / dirt tracks
