2.4 ghz throttle trim?

tryed and try going by the book and i can't get my throttle trim so stay on the remote. it will stay there as long as i dont shut the remote off but even just off and on will reset it and then my throttle trim knob is useless

I'm guessing its a traxxas radio ....i have 2 of the programmable ones ..and i never had that problem ...maybe you have a bad one
