Just got my new MP7.5

Hi Guys !

I just received my new MP7.5 (kit form)
I haven't decided what engine to buy yet..... any suggestions ?
Does anyone know where I can find some info on setting up mu steering/suspension ?
I have heard that there is a copy of the set up that Kanai uses but I cant find it.

Any help appreciated.

One more thing, are there any other bodies that will fit this buggy ?
The shell that came with it is unpainted so Ill make sure I post some pics when its done.

Brent

Congrats on your kit purchase. You were asking about steering, suspension and setup questions. Does that mean you're going to race?

If so, your engine choice really depeneds on your track. Some engines are built for acceleration (tight tracks) and some are built for top speed (open tracks). Ours is a tight track with a short 85ft straight away. Our racers prefer engines with acceleration. The RB Concepts WS7 and WS7II are popular. Some guys on the track run the NovaRossi P5 engines. We also have a few OS .21 buggy race engines.

This page has some setups from Yuichi Kanai : (at the bottom you find the straight MP 7.5)

Good Luck and Welcome to RCNT

Hello Brent!
GRATS on your new kit!
I love the OS.21 VZ-B(P).. I dont have it myself, but I have tryed it alot.. Im getting it next year for sure.. Its the newest OS engine out there.. Long lifetime, GREAT power... Im not sure it wil fit, but its not hard to make some new holes, or get a (screw/hole adapter) dont remember what its called..
Search the web for suspension and steering settings. Thats the easiest way..

the OS VZ and RZ series are both direct fits into the 7.5

Personally - I am a die hard OS engine fan - the things are amazing, and most of all, they are reliable. Rob mentioned the WS7, which is also a powerhouse, but it will set u back a pretty penny. Well, that , and the fact that its made in France. lol.

Take yor pick, just shy away from any of the Italian Mills, unless u really know how to tune.

WELCOME TO RCNT!

Alot of people seem to like the WS7II or the NovaRossi P5, and the OS VZ-B. Depending on the size of the track or style of driving, even an OS RG is race worthy and a Rex/Top SBK 5P or Picco 0-1BP. There's too many choices to make, just go through reviews and user opinions.

As for car setup, check the Kanai setup sheet link that was posted previously, I use that as well.
