As a general rule, 27Mhz has a longer wavelength than 75Mhz, and can be more susceptable to interference. Also, the frame rate is higher on 75 than 27. Framerate being the number of data frames per length of time. And I'm not too sure, but the number of channels for 27Mhz (green, blue, yellow, brown, etc) is less than for 75Mhz.

As error stated. There are not as many channels on the 27Mhz (6) as there are on the 75Mhz (30). I have both 27Mhz and 75Mhz and personally I cant tell the difference performance wise.

Personally I like using 75Mhz for the fact that theres more of a chance that I WONT be on the same channel as the other guys at the track or bash site. And if I am....I have a wider choice of channels to switch to.

Go with the FM 75mhz. Like the last two post, you'll run into less danger of crossing frequencies.

75 Mhz is the way to go. More channel selection and less interference. A computerized FM radio isn't cheap but it is well worth the cost. The features included in a good one allow for much better setup of the handlig and add the ability to store configurations for multiple cars/trucks.
