Anyone know if mugen/ofna/kyoso/storm clutch springs are all universal ? I need to get some 1.1 springs for my mbx5, but my lhs dont carry mugen, but has ofna and i think kyosho in stock.. Will these work ?

I have a Ofna car, ordered the Mugen 1.1 springs. As far as I can tell the shape is identical. I didn't know ofna had the 1.1's

Hmmm, I thought the Mugen springs were a little smaller than Kyosho and Ofna's. I may be wrong though.

Just today I put the ofna gold springs back in to see if engaging alittle earlier would take better advantage of the P5s torque. I had both sets laying on the table together, and they were so close I couldn't tell any diff.

Question to Razorback or anyone else who has ran the p5. Just wondering what clutch setup you liked the best.

well other than the rear end wanting to come around on turns (suspension needs to be adjusted) , they make the ws7II lil more zip off the line than with the stocks
