Storm RTR Pipe
Alwright, ive had my storm now for 3 weeks, its been a blast getting it to run right(cough, sarcasm, couch), but now that it is, ive decided to get a new pipe. My neighbors have been nice about the noise, and im a new favorite amoung the kids. It is time though, especially with my dad offering to buy it. I'm looking for a pipe that will increase performance in the low to mid range and that will atleast make the sound a little quieter. Any ideas for that powerband is good though.

Depending on your budget I would look at both these pipes. If you want somethong more expensive, RB, Paris, Nova Rossi are all great pipes
Now the adjustable tuned pipe is about $25 at a LHS and the one piece chrome is about $70-$75 at the LHS. Just like the fuel, Paris had a helping hand with the Dynamite line of pipes. I run this RB header with the top pipe on my Sirio SR.21 and it does great.

Any 086 is good i'd say, because you can use it with most engines out there and get good results - so if you ever get a new engine, you might be able to hang on to your pipe. It should give at least a slightly noticeable boost in the lowend and topend department. I think the second pipe HB pictured is Dynamites 086.
There's also the THS 086 if you want a one piece setup - http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCPX0&P=7 The only worry with these (pretty polished pipes) is they can get bent and beaten up easily if you crash or get hit a lot when racing, and if thats the case, you could go for one of the hardcoated (black) ones instead. Also if your looking to muffle sound, you might want to look at the dual and triple chambered pipes out there. Basically the more chambers, the quieter it is. Sometimes that can mean a small reduction in power too... so its your call. I doubt the small reduction in noise would make much of a difference with neighbours personally, just make sure you always smile and say hi when you see them (neighbours, adults) outside... as long as they are friendly with you they won't complain.
