another vote for the 8ight. I recently picked up a 2.0 buggy and love it, kinda expensive though. the earlier 8ight is awesome too.

XTM XT2 is a great buggy, comes with an .247 engine and I like the set up out of the box. It's only 249.99 and I haven't broken anything yet... in fact I have broken 4 things on my Losi LST since I got the XTM and I have been driving the XTM More! well thats my 2 cents.

one of the vids that helped me decide to get it:

Thunder Tiger EB4 S2 Pro buggy , check my album on my profile for pics.

Hyper series of buggies, Losi buggies, XTM buggy, all are good.

My opinion ? go with what suits your needs. If u want to bash, or race, choose a buggy to suit those conditions, if you want to do a bit of both, choose a buggy that is capable of both.

Do a little homework (research) on the buggies other than base your choice purely on what other people suggest. That way, you can make an informed and definate choice based on what you intend to use it for.

I just bought a Ofna Ultra LX One and I have to say it's a great buggy (not to mention the cheap price It cost) But the only thing you need to upgrade on it is the steering servo which cost about 40 bucks for a better one because the stock one is crap.
50= mph with a big engine (.28 force) that has a lot of torque comes stock. I love mine
