Opinions and experience on the RD Logics SHO 8th scale Nitro Buggy

I have been in Nitro for about 4 years and I have had 2 onroad cars, 4 monster trucks and 1 stadium truck. I currently have a Revo 3.3 and an RS4 Evo 3. I want to take my Revo to the local hobby shop and run it on the track there but I don't want to wreck it or get it all covered with the clay that is used for the track. Because of this I am willing to get a buggy that would be used for just the track there. I have $350 max to use for the purchase of an RTR buggy. I have looked on Craigslist and only found Ofna buggies in OK shape. I decided to go and talk to the owner of the LHS and he introduced me a brand new RD Logic SHO 1/8th scale nitro buggy. I thought it was extremely impressive looking.

I would like to know what you all think of this buggy please.

Thanks

I have a PRP Swift, which is the earlier version of this buggy. Well, same thing minus some strengthened parts. I love it! I was bashing it this weekend and it just tears up! Engine is great (I haven't touched the tune in 2yrs), though I had to replace the gas tank because it leaks air (factory issue). The parts in it are really solid, it's not a bargain basement piece of crap. I was running it on pavement and dirt and flipping it (accidently) a bunch and not a single parts crack, even though I don't run it with the body on. I even like the radio! Steering server is real weak and the springs are super soft, my only 2 complaints. Parts are easily available on ebay for cheap.

You can get a PRP Swift new for $199 I think and the Sho for $299. Big differences are hardened outdrives and cvds and possibly better gas tank. Search this forum for a 100+ page thread on the Swift.

I really love mine and can't say enough good things about it.
