Help rtx engine change to a axial .28

hey,can any one tell me what all is needed in the clutch area on the rtx27 when dropping in a axial.28.the change is done although i used the clutch parts off of the stock engine and the truck is constantly in drive,its like there is no clutch its in direct drive.can anyone help

A new clutch bell, clutch shoes, bearings, etc. Sounds like your idle is set way too high to me. Try turning it down some.

You sure you put the clutch back together properly? Does the bell spin freely on the crankshaft when the engine is out of the truck?

Sounds like you either put the shoes/springs on wrong or shimmed the CB/flywheel wrong and it's too tight.

hello,ive tried the idle,didnt do anything,i believe ive got something wrong in the clutch set up.but im not fimilur with how they work

i believe thats the problem ive got something wrong in the cluthes but ive never worked on a clutch system before and not sure what to do,and i never shimmed anything,what do i shim.

If you can post a clear pic of the clutch assembly, one of us can tell you if it's assembled correctly.

The shim he is referring to is between the outer clutch bearing and the retaining bolt/clip.
