Ofna Picco buggy

My wife ordered me one!

I know it is not the latest greatest full blown race buggy but I think it will do me fine. I have raced Monster trucks for a while now and getting bored with it. I have been asking my buddies to let me drive their buggies a lot so I started looking around and decided this is the one for me to start with. Of course the stock electronics are coming out but the rest will hopefully stay stock.. well maybe some tires too.
This is the 9.5 platform right? Any tuning tips would be appreciated.

Go to www.ofna.com/forum...there is some information about this buggy. If you need any part support, give Nitrohouse a call.

It showed up Monday. I love it so far. I broke it this evening, break-in went smooth.
I ditched the stock steering servo for a Hitec 5955 and put one of my Spektrum systems on it. I also used a 1600 Nimh hump pack. The stock throttle/brake servo seems fine. it is staying for now.
The engine is amazing for a RTR mill, it will embarass a lot of high dollar mills for sure. The engine seems to get great runtimes on fuel so far.
I put 3 tanks on it in the backyard, it turns good and stops nicely in grass and sandy soil.
The true test comes tomorrow, I am taking it to the track.
So far I think if you want a RTR buggy under 400 bucks, this is the one. It is just as fast maybe faster than the RTR Losi 8 buggies.
RC Driver mag. did a review on it this month, they gave it high marks. I have to agree so far.

Well practice day ended abruptly, no loctite anywhere it was needed. I lost a rear center dogbone and rear diff input cup. Nobody has these parts locally either!!
The buggy is fast, it cleared doubles and triples easily.
