buggy roll cages?

buggy roll cages?

any chances on seeing a 1/8th scale buggy cage in the future

why? Its only going to add weight (go slower) and it won't protect your front end unless it encompasses it entirely....which would end up looking like something from Beyond Thunderdome. Just learn to driver smarter, and crash less.

This is coming from someone who asked basically the exact same question once upon a time.

The main technical reason we don't have them is the body fits too tightly to the chassis to fit a cage under. The closest we have to a 1/8 buggy is a cage for the Ofna Jammin X1, which has enough room under the body. The practical reason we don't is 1/8 buggy racers are usually experienced drivers and often race. They aren't interested in any extra weight.
