Hey Guys !
Had my hyper 7 TQ .28 for about a month now and I love it. It goes like a rocket and can take a fair bashing Prior to buying it, I had been told by my LSH that the bigger engine can be a right bugger to start but I have had no such problem. The only problem I would say I have is that the standard AA battery pack will not last any more than about 1 hour running time.Is there any reason for this or is it normal? Also, if I upgraded to a rechargable pack, would the servo's have any extra torque? Thanks again, Michael |

Yes, you wont get much more than an hour out of the AA's.
You will get more power and speed out of your servos by changing to a rechargable pack. The reason for this is they are 6 volts, not 4.8volts like the 4 AA's. If you look at most servo specs, they show output at 4.8, and 6v. I will be doing a brushless set-up on a Hyper 7 TQ that I picked up on here, look for it! |
