Hyper 8 Pro

Is this a good buggy? RCMart is seliing for 299, I have friends in HK and can pick it up for free:

http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...ducts_id=18334

Is this the same car as this:

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXMGH6&P=ML

Looks like the Tower one is a 8.5 and the RC mart one is a 8

the 8.5 is a newer version..not sure but the parts should be mostly interchangeable or they would have changed the name on it......it's a good starter buggy for sure...if you get into racing it will get you started but be a bit more pit time compared to the mugen/Kyosho/Xrays and such....

I already have a TT EB4 S3 and a Kyosho Inferno International, this is for investment, if I see a steal I pick it up. But I dont want to buy rigs that are going out of market or for which parts are not available since friends and the like whom I sell/give it to will not benefit from the ride as much.

The 8.5 is just a 8 with extra parts you have to put on. So, yes all parts are interchangeble. So as far as I can see, this is NOT an out of date buggy,if that is what your worried about.
