as for the losi 8ight i have never owned or drived one. Ive seen it drive. It seems like it hadels pretty good and a capable buggy. it was keeping up with the other rtr buggies that i saw out there. Losi knows what they are doing and if you choose the losi buggy im sure you will be happy

Actually ther is a problem with the 8eight, ironicly, having to do with blowing out throttle servos. Its a design flaw that Losi does not want to admit. Quiet a few racers have been having problems.

Are you torn between truggy and buggy? Is this going to be a racer anytime, or just a basher?

You can usually upgrade most RTR's up to "pro" or kit status, but it usually comes at a steep price. Even over time it will add up. BUT you may not need all the pro stuff if your bashing around your yard.

The RTR package Losi put out is great, but do some more research into the problem.

Others in buggy to consider are, in no order
Hyper 8
Jammin
CEN Matrix

I think the best RTR truggy out there is the Jammin.
