Without a doubt you need a good failsafe - you need a good failsafe for any R/C!
When I had my buggy a few other things I added to it was a tuned pipe and rebuilt the diffs using some silicone oil! Enjoy the new buggy! -Michael

a good servo will be around $40-100, failsafe $20-30, I have PCR Towers on my PBS they are around $30 each, and a good radio between $80-400 depending out what you want with it.
A failsafe should always be on a RC, it is a small device that will apply the brakes to the RC if radio contact is lost or interupted. |

I'm selling some of the stuff in the sale forum.....servos and pipes might interest you (shameless plug number 2, collect em all)...I'd do the servos and keep everything else stock until it breaks or you are just driving it to the limit of your equipment and want more....part of the hobby is learning, and the best way is to break it so you need to fix it.....but the stock servos are usually very basic and plastic gears wich strip out quickly.......

FastEddy was selling Ofna Micro Failsafe's a while back. Send him a PM if you are interested.
Here is his thread about them.

And a one piece engine mount. Saves you from setting your gear mesh when you have to take the motor out of the buggy. You can also check out the Ofna forums, they are good for Ofna specific stuff
