Ofna 2 speed won't shift
Hey all,
Recently I took out an old Ofna lx pro .26 I had purchased a while ago and completed the install of the 2 speed (finger type). For some reason it won't shift ! I have torn it down 4 times and everything is in exactly as it should be. The car seems to be stuck in second all the time now. I have turned the set screw in and out with no luck. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. |

If you say it sounds like it is stuck in second here are a few things to try.
1st- lower your ilde 2nd- don't punch it taking off take off slowly very slowly and listen to see if it shifts. If it doesn't shift then your shift point is too early and there is not enough on the spring to keep it in first gear. 3rd- small adjustments do alot, so make sure your engine is tuned correctly and then small changes on the shift point and you sould get it. |

All great ponits ....and believe me I have done all 3 of those with no luck :/
I have two other rc cars with 2 speeds and have never had a problem with them. I will keep messing around with it and see what happens. I would really like to hear from those who have had the same issue as me since it seems to be a common thing with this 2 speed. But the users who posted the threads on the problem have not logged in last 1 year or 2 so I doubt they are still around.
