First picture of the new Mugen MBX5R!!!

here you go zandor!!!

Having been tested since the start of the year, it features the new shocks, team arms, for better travel, a revised steering system. The car will officially debut at the Worlds on Monday!!

The rear "dog legs" must have been inspired by the Kyosho ST-R. Helps a lot with dampening.

Nice looking rig. Great find!

Yessir it does have the old arms. I didn't know about the updated rear arms either and ended up getting the 2mm option hubs so I can run non-Mugen wheels. I still might get the new rear arms before the bash.

The front upper arms, do they arc up in the rear on yours Z? The fuel tank looks revised.

Hey Dom,the buggy you have I actuallly had as a standard X5. I wonder if all the prospecs are set that way and the standards do not.

I see a couple differences, now that I looked hard enough; the front upper arms have a sort-of twist to them (the rear edge being higher than the front), and it appears like the shock towers are narrower.

I hope they offer an upgrade kit for MBX5 Prospec owners.
