Thinking of converting to a pull start.

Any helpful hints on this one?

Is a OWB bearing used - hearing a lot of stuff about it. Good/bad?

Needing pointers.

Matt.

Just pull the ez start off and put the pull start in it's place.

It does use a owb

If your not good at turning it will give you blisters and you will hate it. If your engine it tuned it's very easy to use. Keep your ez start handy just in case.

pullstarts are great and bad.

Pros:
-Dont need really any fancy equipment
-No messy wires
-Pretty reliable

Cons:
-When broken, PITA to fix.
-If not in the ballpark for tuning, will be harder to start.

Hope that helps.

Imo sleezy start is a pita. Go with a roto start or pullstart. The roto start is great and if you have the eze start you have the batt for the roto start.

most of the upgrades I've done to my revo have been to save weight.

i wonder what my revo weighs?

i have carbon fiber pushrods, turnbuckles, and hinge pins.
bumpstart setup, tekno mounts all around, singler servo steering, foc, rpm arms, no rollbar...probably more stuff but i can't remember..
