I finaly but my Hyper 7 put together but i have run into a few things

first my airfilter is to tall it touches the top of the buggy cockpit area I have moved it around and it gets worse. so is it going to effect any thing I dont think it will but I want to be sure.

also i did the drop test i was able to bring my buggy up 1ft, i just bash and i think I need stiffer springs, I am running Kyosho blue. were should I go from their. I am running 50wt ft/rr

I wouldn't use ANY brake drag...it just creates more hassle than it's worth IMO....CB bearings wear faster and you get nose dives off big jumps from it....
Remember when you are jumping a buggy it is actually designed to bottom out...the chassis is spreading out the force of impact....I think I can drp mine from about 2 ft before it bottoms out hard....but I can jump it over 20 ft and it's fine.....

I run a different buggy but the diff setups are pretty simple....5-7-1 or 2 in rear for low traction tracks....7-10-3 is what I'm settign up the spare diffs for next time I have a high traction track....my friend says it rocks if you can get bite on the whole track.....shocks are going to really be more specific to the buggy than driver prefference from what I see.....I just like softer setup in the rear......40 w/ med springs in front...35 w/ med springs in rear.....I'm tryin gthis now to see if I like it better for crappy surfaces.....normally I do 45 front / 40 rear....

Sorry to de-rail the thread, but Plaid, what did you run in your 9.5 Pro? I just smoked my second set of TORSEN gears, so I am going to go with a conventional center diff setup. I have 5k/Torsen/1k, and was thinking about doing a 7k center. We run on hard ground, with enough loose topsoil to need deeper lug tires than normal (my buddy uses Badlands).

the OFNA ran real good w/ the standard 5-7-2...I really only got to set it up for hard bluegroove track though....I didn't run it long enough to learn what it really likes and dislikes...
