Exclamation What's Xray got to say????

Thursday Xray is supposed to make an announcement on a new product, whatcha think? XB8 kits are supposedly in short supply heard some speculation they may be doing some upgrades to the current kit (not much they can do but..) another was a Truggy. Supposed to make the announcement to some 1/8th scale off road site.

I bet it's a truggy since that is what's popular right now.

i hope its a truggy kit....they just redid the xb8 kits, not mechanically just adjusted the price and parts it comes with, so i dont think its going to be another 1/8 buggy yet.....but who knows

I'm hoping for a trug so I can really be confused on what I want to get next. Hey Plaid, I ruined my night reading about so I just thought I would share the wealth! (starts to hum final jeopardy jingle).

Hi Guys,

From talking to RC America a few weeks back, there is a revised XB8 coming next month and yes, there is a truggy in the works, but that will be more towards April/May (Hopefully sooner though, and hopefully based off the new revised XB8)

That's all I know, but it's from a solid source

OH CRAP......

I'm torn...I love my truggy but the thought of carrying less parts in the pit boxes is very appealing.....

RC Tire does the newer XB8 kit come w/ the aluminum rear/front uprights and knuckles?? what did you mean they re-did the kit?

Mr. Wang, did your source mention which one of those 2 items you mentioned the announcement is most likely going to be??

well to make the kit more affordable, they stopped putting some of the extra parts in the kit ( battery, extra shocks, hudy tools...).

Man if there is a truggy comeing I sure hope it is a long arm version. I'll have one the second they are available.

I'm not buying a buggy until right when the season starts just to see what xray has to offer.

If it was an XB8 truggy, they would sell like MAD! I want a truggy i guess my only option is the MSR conversion.

my lhs owner says they should look into getting parts out sooner for what they already have rather than introduce any new products. seriously- i think he has just been forgetting to order what i need. i am guessing i am the only one having probs getting parts due to his lack of ordering them? anyone else? this would really help me out knowing where the problem is originating from. thanks in advance.

i have heard they will be introducing a truggy and of course a conversion kit for the xb8, but this is strictly hearsay

BuggyRacer28, I'd spend the money on a jammin long before the MSR. Just my 2 cents.

Q-Pod, I have no problem getting xray parts. I buy online however. My local hobby shop doesn't carry xray.

I imagine your hobby shop never has enough stuff to order to actually fill a full order.

Just read on neobuggy they are speculating it's just the XB8 with the TQ front and rear.
